What are Unani BioTypes and how does it relate to Nursing?

​

Unani BioTypes is a medical and psychological philosophy that has been used for centuries to understand the health, behaviors, and compatibilities of all types of people. Gaining the knowledge and learning its application methods will allow you, the Registered Nurse, to:

  • Assess patient needs in a holistic way to include their psychological behaviors

  • Why do they do the things they do? More importantly, how can I get them to be compliant with their healthcare regimen?

  • Anticipate barriers to care and create tools for motivating patients and their families to reach their health goals and objectives.

  • How to make the most of my working environment and colleagues by understanding the why behind what they do and how to motivate them to be a team player.

  • Apply this in other areas such as Leadership, Management & Team Building. Not to mention with your relationships too!

  • And much more!

How many CEs will I receive?

​

As an RN you will receive 12 Continuing Education credits (CEs) upon successful completion of the course! Almost half the CEs needed to renew your license!

​

When will I receive my CEs?

​

Receiving your Certificate of Completion is dependent on your successful completion of the course. Please allow up to 1 week from the course completion to receive your Certificate of Completion. The following are the key elements to ensure your success in the course as well as your Certificate of Completion:- Enrolling into the RN CE Intro to Biotypes Course

  • No more than 15 minutes late signing on to the training each day

  • Active online participation and present for the entire course

  • Complete the Evaluation Survey upon completion of the Course to include:

    • Your Full Name- as it appears on your RN license

    • Your License Number (You take full responsibility for License Number accuracy)

    • E-mail address where you would like the Digital Certificate sent

Do I have to be in the entire training to receive CEs?

​

Yes! You must be present for the entire training, whether in-person or online, in order to receive CE credit. You can be no more than 15 minutes late signing on to each day in order to receive credit.

How long will it take for me to receive my Certificate of Completion?

​

Please allow up to 1 week from the course completion to receive your Certificate of Completion, although many times it will be a shorter turnaround time.

​

What if I need my Certificate of Completion right away?

​

Please let us know ahead of time if you need your Certificate of Completion quickly so that we can work with you on a timeline to allow us to best accommodate your needs should this arise. We would need advanced notice a minimum of 2 business days prior to the course start date. Please e-mail info@RGPDevelopment.com for special circumstances.

Is there an exam?

​

At this time there is no exam to complete! If this were to change this we would let you know beforehand.

​

What is the refund policy?

​

Refunds are allowed up to 1 day (24 hours) in advance from the course start date & time for the RN CE Intro to Biotypes Course.

​

What happens if a course is cancelled?

​

If we must cancel a course you will be notified by e-mail if greater than 24 hours before the class start date & time.

​

If we must cancel a course within 24 hours of the course start date & time you will be notified via e-mail AND phone call if you have listed your phone number under your contact information when registered.

​

In any event of cancellation, you will be able to reschedule and the rescheduling fee will be waived.

​

What happens if I do not attend a course I registered and paid for?

​

If you were unable to attend a course in which you registered and paid for, there will be no refund, however, you can reschedule for a later course for a fee of $50 due at the time of rescheduling.

Is there a fee to reschedule?

​

  1. If you registered and paid for a course and did not attend the course, you can reschedule for a later course for a fee of $50 due at the time of rescheduling.

  2. If you contact RGP Development at info@RGPDevelopment.com within 24 hours prior to the course start date & time, you can reschedule for a later course for a fee of $50 due at the time of rescheduling.

Will my hospital/organization pay for this training?

​

Each Hospital/Organization normally has a Tuition Reimbursement or Education Fund for each employee that is dependent on whether you are a Full-Time or Part-time employee. Please check with your Organization on whether they would allow this course as reimbursable.

​

Can I use the CA BRN CEs to renew my license?

​

If you are licensed in the State of California you are clear to use the course CEs to renew your RN license.

​

If you are licensed outside of California please look over your State’s Licensing Board as each State has a different set of regulations on what CE licensing bodies they will accept.

​

MAJORITY of States accept CEs from other State BRNs.

​

How is RGP Development able to offer CEs for RNs?

​

RGP Development has partnered with Nursing Education Online who is licensed through the California Board of Registered Nursing (CA BRN) and have worked closely to be able to provide CEs for RNs for this course. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 17096, for 12 contact hours.
