What are Unani BioTypes and how does it relate to Nursing?

Unani BioTypes is a medical and psychological philosophy that has been used for centuries to understand the health, behaviors, and compatibilities of all types of people. Gaining the knowledge and learning its application methods will allow you, the Registered Nurse, to:

  • Assess patient needs in a holistic way to include their psychological behaviors

  • Why do they do the things they do? More importantly, how can I get them to be compliant with their healthcare regimen?

  • Anticipate barriers to care and create tools for motivating patients and their families to reach their health goals and objectives.

  • How to make the most of my working environment and colleagues by understanding the why behind what they do and how to motivate them to be a team player.

  • Apply this in other areas such as Leadership, Management & Team Building. Not to mention with your relationships too!

  • And much more!
